Shutetsu: Iron Posture, Powerful Strikes

Shutetsu: Iron Posture, Powerful Strikes

How to throw strong punches by establishing correct posture!

What if the real secret to devastating punches and throws wasn’t muscle, but posture?

In this exclusive training session, filmed with advanced students only, master instructor Masashi Fujiwara unveils Shutetsu, a method of transmitting the body’s full weight into every strike by recruiting deep stabilizers and locking in lumbar stability.

You’ll learn not only the core principles of correct posture but also how to apply them under pressure. From sparring drills that teach distance and stability to body-strike training for both delivering and absorbing impact, every exercise is designed for real combat effectiveness.
This isn’t abstract theory. It’s a hands-on system for building power that any martial artist can use.

Supervision & Instruction: Masashi Fujiwara
Masashi Fujiwara began his martial arts journey with karate and went on to study a wide range of traditions, exploring diverse training methods along the way.
Drawing on his own practice as well as his exchanges with martial artists and fighters, he founded "Shutetsu Karate-do" in 2020, a system of karate that emphasizes the pursuit of power behind techniques. Today, reflecting a broader and more flexible scope of study beyond karate, he has renamed his organization "Shutetsu," continuing to teach and share across styles and disciplines.
